GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The certification of construction by architect certifying a projects under the Karnataka Rent Act, 1999, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Estate Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every architect certifying a project carrying on the certification of construction shall furnish Form E to the Rent Controller within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every architect certifying a project carrying on the certification of construction shall make an application in Form E to the Rent Controller within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the certification of construction is undertaken, and the Rent Controller shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka.
