GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a hostel by hostels for students of Scheduled Castes under the Tamil Nadu Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Reservation of Seats) Act, 1994, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Welfare Officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every hostel for students of Scheduled Castes carrying on the running of a hostel shall furnish Form IV to the Commission within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every hostel for students of Scheduled Castes carrying on the running of a hostel shall make an application in Form IV to the Commission within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a hostel is undertaken, and the Commission shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Energy Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
