GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The carrying on of a trade within a cantonment by traders within a cantonment under the Karnataka Control of Organised Crimes Act, 2002, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Station Staff Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every trader within a cantonment carrying on the carrying on of a trade within a cantonment shall furnish Form G to the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief within fourteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every trader within a cantonment carrying on the carrying on of a trade within a cantonment shall make an application in Form G to the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the carrying on of a trade within a cantonment is undertaken, and the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Karnataka.
