GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The analysis of food by food laboratories under the Maharashtra Animal Preservation Act, 1977, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Food Safety Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every food laboratory carrying on the analysis of food shall furnish Form F to the Registering Authority within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every food laboratory carrying on the analysis of food shall make an application in Form F to the Registering Authority within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the analysis of food is undertaken, and the Registering Authority shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Maharashtra.
