Chennai, dated the 25th July, 2007

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a child care institution by child care institutions under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Anganwadi Supervisor, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every child care institution carrying on the running of a child care institution shall furnish Form I to the District Child Protection Unit within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every child care institution carrying on the running of a child care institution shall make an application in Form I to the District Child Protection Unit within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a child care institution is undertaken, and the District Child Protection Unit shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
