GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The management of a math by managers of a math under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Survey Commissioner, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every manager of a math carrying on the management of a math shall furnish Form B to the Charity Commissioner within one hundred and eighty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every manager of a math carrying on the management of a math shall make an application in Form B to the Charity Commissioner within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of a math is undertaken, and the Charity Commissioner shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
