GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The holding of defence land on lease by lessees of defence land under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders... Act, 1982, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Recruiting Officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every lessee of defence land carrying on the holding of defence land on lease shall furnish Form C to the Cantonment Board within fourteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of defence land carrying on the holding of defence land on lease shall make an application in Form C to the Cantonment Board within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of defence land on lease is undertaken, and the Cantonment Board shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
