GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The import of liquor into the State by importers of liquor under the West Bengal Excise Act, 1909, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Excise Inspector, the Government of West Bengal, after careful examination, hereby orders that every importer of liquor carrying on the import of liquor into the State shall furnish Form G to the Excise Appellate Authority within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every importer of liquor carrying on the import of liquor into the State shall make an application in Form G to the Excise Appellate Authority within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the import of liquor into the State is undertaken, and the Excise Appellate Authority shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of West Bengal.
