GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a private hostel by operators of a hostel for tenants under the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Estate Officer, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a hostel for tenants carrying on the running of a private hostel shall furnish Form B to the Registrar of Co-operative Housing Societies within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a hostel for tenants carrying on the running of a private hostel shall make an application in Form B to the Registrar of Co-operative Housing Societies within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a private hostel is undertaken, and the Registrar of Co-operative Housing Societies shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
