GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a canteen by holders of a canteen licence under the Karnataka Control of Organised Crimes Act, 2002, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Provost Marshal, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every holder of a canteen licence carrying on the running of a canteen shall furnish Form A to the Director-General within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every holder of a canteen licence carrying on the running of a canteen shall make an application in Form A to the Director-General within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a canteen is undertaken, and the Director-General shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Karnataka.
