GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The operation of a plant by operators of a plant under the Karnataka Forest Act, 1964, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Forest Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a plant carrying on the operation of a plant shall furnish Form VII to the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a plant carrying on the operation of a plant shall make an application in Form VII to the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a plant is undertaken, and the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Environment Department, Government of Karnataka.
