GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The distribution of films by distributors of films under the Tamil Nadu Exhibition of Films on Television Screen through Video Cassette Recorders (Regulation) Act, 1984, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Press Registrar, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every distributor of films carrying on the distribution of films shall furnish Form III to the Registering Authority within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every distributor of films carrying on the distribution of films shall make an application in Form III to the Registering Authority within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the distribution of films is undertaken, and the Registering Authority shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
