New Delhi, dated the 14th May, 2006

ORDER

Subject: The occupation of land by occupants under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (Delhi Act 8 of 1954), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Circle Officer, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every occupant carrying on the occupation of land shall furnish Form 12 to the Land Tribunal within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every occupant carrying on the occupation of land shall make an application in Form 12 to the Land Tribunal within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the occupation of land is undertaken, and the Land Tribunal shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
