GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The keeping of a hotel by keepers of a hotel under the Kerala Tourism (Conservation and Preservation of Areas) Act, 2005, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Superintending Archaeologist, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every keeper of a hotel carrying on the keeping of a hotel shall furnish Form VIII to the Authority within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every keeper of a hotel carrying on the keeping of a hotel shall make an application in Form VIII to the Authority within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the keeping of a hotel is undertaken, and the Authority shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Kerala.
