GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The use of water by users of water under the Kerala Ground Water (Control and Regulation) Act, 2002, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Divisional Canal Officer, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every user of water carrying on the use of water shall furnish Form H to the Dam Safety Authority within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every user of water carrying on the use of water shall make an application in Form H to the Dam Safety Authority within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the use of water is undertaken, and the Dam Safety Authority shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Kerala.
