GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The operation of a vessel by owners of a vessel under the Maharashtra Maritime Board Act, 1996, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Registrar of Inland Vessels, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a vessel carrying on the operation of a vessel shall furnish Form 2 to the Maritime Board within ninety days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a vessel carrying on the operation of a vessel shall make an application in Form 2 to the Maritime Board within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a vessel is undertaken, and the Maritime Board shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Ports Department, Government of Maharashtra.
