GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The practice of medicine by registered medical practitioners under the Tamil Nadu Private Clinical Establishments (Regulation) Act, 1997, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Medical Officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every registered medical practitioner carrying on the practice of medicine shall furnish Form 28 to the Appropriate Authority within twenty-one days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every registered medical practitioner carrying on the practice of medicine shall make an application in Form 28 to the Appropriate Authority within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the practice of medicine is undertaken, and the Appropriate Authority shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
