GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The functions of a kazi by kazis under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Sub-Registrar, the Government of Uttarakhand, after careful examination, hereby orders that every kazi carrying on the functions of a kazi shall furnish Form VII to the Family Court within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every kazi carrying on the functions of a kazi shall make an application in Form VII to the Family Court within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the functions of a kazi is undertaken, and the Family Court shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
