GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The running of a shelter home by shelter homes under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Probation Officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every shelter home carrying on the running of a shelter home shall furnish Form III to the Juvenile Justice Board within ninety days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every shelter home carrying on the running of a shelter home shall make an application in Form III to the Juvenile Justice Board within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a shelter home is undertaken, and the Juvenile Justice Board shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
