GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The running of a motor transport undertaking by owners of a motor transport undertaking under the Karnataka Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1962, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Conciliation Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a motor transport undertaking carrying on the running of a motor transport undertaking shall furnish Form VIII to the Labour Commissioner within sixty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a motor transport undertaking carrying on the running of a motor transport undertaking shall make an application in Form VIII to the Labour Commissioner within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a motor transport undertaking is undertaken, and the Labour Commissioner shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Karnataka.
