GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The leasing of a village tank by lessees of a village tank under the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act, 1959, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Extension Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every lessee of a village tank carrying on the leasing of a village tank shall furnish Form 6 to the Panchayat Samiti within sixty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of a village tank carrying on the leasing of a village tank shall make an application in Form 6 to the Panchayat Samiti within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the leasing of a village tank is undertaken, and the Panchayat Samiti shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Maharashtra.
