GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The letting of premises for marriages by licensed marriage halls under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Probation Officer, the Government of Uttarakhand, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensed marriage hall carrying on the letting of premises for marriages shall furnish Form IV to the District Court within fourteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every licensed marriage hall carrying on the letting of premises for marriages shall make an application in Form IV to the District Court within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the letting of premises for marriages is undertaken, and the District Court shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
