GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The manufacture of electricity meters by meter manufacturers under the Gujarat Electricity Industry (Reorganisation and Regulation) Act, 2003, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Electrical Inspector, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every meter manufacturer carrying on the manufacture of electricity meters shall furnish Form VI to the Grievance Redressal Forum within thirty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every meter manufacturer carrying on the manufacture of electricity meters shall make an application in Form VI to the Grievance Redressal Forum within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the manufacture of electricity meters is undertaken, and the Grievance Redressal Forum shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Gujarat.
