GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The leasing of a village tank by lessees of a village tank under the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Gram Sevak, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every lessee of a village tank carrying on the leasing of a village tank shall furnish Form 2 to the Block Development Officer within fourteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of a village tank carrying on the leasing of a village tank shall make an application in Form 2 to the Block Development Officer within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the leasing of a village tank is undertaken, and the Block Development Officer shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
