GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The care of children in an institution by child care institutions under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Registrar of Births and Deaths, the Government of Uttarakhand, after careful examination, hereby orders that every child care institution carrying on the care of children in an institution shall furnish Form IV to the Central Adoption Resource Authority within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every child care institution carrying on the care of children in an institution shall make an application in Form IV to the Central Adoption Resource Authority within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the care of children in an institution is undertaken, and the Central Adoption Resource Authority shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
