GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The foster care of a child by foster parents under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Registrar of Births and Deaths, the Government of Uttarakhand, after careful examination, hereby orders that every foster parent carrying on the foster care of a child shall furnish Form VI to the Maintenance Tribunal within thirty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every foster parent carrying on the foster care of a child shall make an application in Form VI to the Maintenance Tribunal within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the foster care of a child is undertaken, and the Maintenance Tribunal shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
