GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The receipt and payment of Government moneys by treasuries under the Kerala Fiscal Responsibility Act, 2003, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Treasury Officer, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every treasury carrying on the receipt and payment of Government moneys shall furnish Form GFR 41 to the Government of Kerala within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every treasury carrying on the receipt and payment of Government moneys shall make an application in Form GFR 41 to the Government of Kerala within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the receipt and payment of Government moneys is undertaken, and the Government of Kerala shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Kerala.
