GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The functions of a kazi by kazis under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Child Welfare Officer, the Government of Uttarakhand, after careful examination, hereby orders that every kazi carrying on the functions of a kazi shall furnish Form III to the District Registrar within one hundred and twenty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every kazi carrying on the functions of a kazi shall make an application in Form III to the District Registrar within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the functions of a kazi is undertaken, and the District Registrar shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
