GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The letting of premises for marriages by licensed marriage halls under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Child Welfare Officer, the Government of Uttarakhand, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensed marriage hall carrying on the letting of premises for marriages shall furnish Form III to the Maintenance Tribunal within one hundred and twenty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every licensed marriage hall carrying on the letting of premises for marriages shall make an application in Form III to the Maintenance Tribunal within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the letting of premises for marriages is undertaken, and the Maintenance Tribunal shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Education Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
