GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The tapping of toddy by toddy tappers under the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act, 1968, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Excise Guard, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every toddy tapper carrying on the tapping of toddy shall furnish Form D to the Licensing Authority within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every toddy tapper carrying on the tapping of toddy shall make an application in Form D to the Licensing Authority within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the tapping of toddy is undertaken, and the Licensing Authority shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
