GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The placement of children for adoption by adoption agencies under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Marriage Officer, the Government of Uttarakhand, after careful examination, hereby orders that every adoption agency carrying on the placement of children for adoption shall furnish Form V to the Family Court within twenty-one days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every adoption agency carrying on the placement of children for adoption shall make an application in Form V to the Family Court within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the placement of children for adoption is undertaken, and the Family Court shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
