GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The holding of a public office by holders of a public office under the Maharashtra Official Languages Act, 1965, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Secretary, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every holder of a public office carrying on the holding of a public office shall furnish Form H to the Registrar of the Commission within one hundred and twenty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every holder of a public office carrying on the holding of a public office shall make an application in Form H to the Registrar of the Commission within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of a public office is undertaken, and the Registrar of the Commission shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Maharashtra.
