GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The administration of the estate of a deceased person by executors of a will under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Sub-Registrar, the Government of Uttarakhand, after careful examination, hereby orders that every executor of a will carrying on the administration of the estate of a deceased person shall furnish Form I to the District Registrar within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every executor of a will carrying on the administration of the estate of a deceased person shall make an application in Form I to the District Registrar within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the administration of the estate of a deceased person is undertaken, and the District Registrar shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Energy Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
