GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The functions of a kazi by kazis under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Registrar of Marriages, the Government of Uttarakhand, after careful examination, hereby orders that every kazi carrying on the functions of a kazi shall furnish Form I to the Maintenance Tribunal within seven days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every kazi carrying on the functions of a kazi shall make an application in Form I to the Maintenance Tribunal within seven days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the functions of a kazi is undertaken, and the Maintenance Tribunal shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
