GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The placement of children for adoption by adoption agencies under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Probation Officer, the Government of Uttarakhand, after careful examination, hereby orders that every adoption agency carrying on the placement of children for adoption shall furnish Form II to the Family Court within forty-five days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every adoption agency carrying on the placement of children for adoption shall make an application in Form II to the Family Court within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the placement of children for adoption is undertaken, and the Family Court shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
