GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The possession of land by persons in possession of land under the Bihar Land Reforms Act, 1950, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Tahsildar, the Government of Bihar, after careful examination, hereby orders that every person in possession of land carrying on the possession of land shall furnish Form 5 to the Board of Revenue within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every person in possession of land carrying on the possession of land shall make an application in Form 5 to the Board of Revenue within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the possession of land is undertaken, and the Board of Revenue shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Bihar.
