GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The sale of stamps by licensed stamp vendors under the Karnataka Stamp Act, 1957, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Stamp Auditor, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensed stamp vendor carrying on the sale of stamps shall furnish Form F to the Stamp Revenue Board within one hundred and twenty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensed stamp vendor carrying on the sale of stamps shall make an application in Form F to the Stamp Revenue Board within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sale of stamps is undertaken, and the Stamp Revenue Board shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Karnataka.
