GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The working of a winery by licensees of a winery under the Punjab Excise Act, 1914, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Sub-Inspector of Excise, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensee of a winery carrying on the working of a winery shall furnish Form D to the District Excise Officer within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of a winery carrying on the working of a winery shall make an application in Form D to the District Excise Officer within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the working of a winery is undertaken, and the District Excise Officer shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Punjab.
