GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The keeping of a printing press by keepers of a printing press under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, 1937, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Station House Officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every keeper of a printing press carrying on the keeping of a printing press shall furnish Form I to the Licensing Authority within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every keeper of a printing press carrying on the keeping of a printing press shall make an application in Form I to the Licensing Authority within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the keeping of a printing press is undertaken, and the Licensing Authority shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
