GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The holding of a public function by organisers of a public function under the Maharashtra Official Languages Act, 1965, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Liaison Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every organiser of a public function carrying on the holding of a public function shall furnish Form H to the Registrar of the Commission within one hundred and twenty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every organiser of a public function carrying on the holding of a public function shall make an application in Form H to the Registrar of the Commission within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of a public function is undertaken, and the Registrar of the Commission shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Maharashtra.
