GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The administration of a family settlement by trustees of a family settlement under the Karnataka Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Act, 1997, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Marriage Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every trustee of a family settlement carrying on the administration of a family settlement shall furnish Form VIII to the Government of Karnataka within sixty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every trustee of a family settlement carrying on the administration of a family settlement shall make an application in Form VIII to the Government of Karnataka within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the administration of a family settlement is undertaken, and the Government of Karnataka shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Karnataka.
