GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The performance of rituals in a temple by archakas under the Odisha Hindu Religious Endowments Act, 1952, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Charity Commissioner, the Government of Odisha, after careful examination, hereby orders that every archaka carrying on the performance of rituals in a temple shall furnish Form G to the Registrar of Societies within ninety days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every archaka carrying on the performance of rituals in a temple shall make an application in Form G to the Registrar of Societies within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the performance of rituals in a temple is undertaken, and the Registrar of Societies shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Odisha.
