GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The employment of inter-State migrant workmen by employers of inter-State migrant workmen under the Karnataka Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1962, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Conciliation Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every employer of inter-State migrant workmen carrying on the employment of inter-State migrant workmen shall furnish Form II to the Chief Inspector within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every employer of inter-State migrant workmen carrying on the employment of inter-State migrant workmen shall make an application in Form II to the Chief Inspector within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the employment of inter-State migrant workmen is undertaken, and the Chief Inspector shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Karnataka.
