GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The holding of land assessed to revenue by holders of land under the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Tahsildar, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every holder of land carrying on the holding of land assessed to revenue shall furnish Form 2 to the Board of Revenue within one hundred and eighty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every holder of land carrying on the holding of land assessed to revenue shall make an application in Form 2 to the Board of Revenue within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land assessed to revenue is undertaken, and the Board of Revenue shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Karnataka.
