GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The receipt of benefits as a nominee by nominees of an insured person under the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Work) Act, 1982, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Regional Director, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every nominee of an insured person carrying on the receipt of benefits as a nominee shall furnish Form 3 to the Welfare Board within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every nominee of an insured person carrying on the receipt of benefits as a nominee shall make an application in Form 3 to the Welfare Board within seven days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the receipt of benefits as a nominee is undertaken, and the Welfare Board shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
