GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The provision of consultancy services to the Government by empanelled consultants under the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Treasury Officer, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every empanelled consultant carrying on the provision of consultancy services to the Government shall furnish Form GFR 40 to the Directorate of Treasuries within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every empanelled consultant carrying on the provision of consultancy services to the Government shall make an application in Form GFR 40 to the Directorate of Treasuries within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the provision of consultancy services to the Government is undertaken, and the Directorate of Treasuries shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Gujarat.
