GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The occupation of premises by tenants under the Karnataka Apartment Ownership Act, 1972, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Adjudicating Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every tenant carrying on the occupation of premises shall furnish Form C to the Rent Authority within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every tenant carrying on the occupation of premises shall make an application in Form C to the Rent Authority within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the occupation of premises is undertaken, and the Rent Authority shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Housing Department, Government of Karnataka.
