GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The manufacture of excisable articles by manufacturers under the Punjab Excise Act, 1914, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Excise Superintendent, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every manufacturer carrying on the manufacture of excisable articles shall furnish Form F to the Deputy Commissioner of Excise within seven days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every manufacturer carrying on the manufacture of excisable articles shall make an application in Form F to the Deputy Commissioner of Excise within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the manufacture of excisable articles is undertaken, and the Deputy Commissioner of Excise shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Punjab.
