GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The operation of a ferry by operators of a ferry under the Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1947, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Chief Executive Officer of the Zila Parishad, the Government of Uttar Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a ferry carrying on the operation of a ferry shall furnish Form 6 to the District Panchayat within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a ferry carrying on the operation of a ferry shall make an application in Form 6 to the District Panchayat within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a ferry is undertaken, and the District Panchayat shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
