GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The imparting of education by electronic means by operators of an online education platform under the Karnataka Education Act, 1995, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Block Education Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of an online education platform carrying on the imparting of education by electronic means shall furnish Form G to the Council within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of an online education platform carrying on the imparting of education by electronic means shall make an application in Form G to the Council within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the imparting of education by electronic means is undertaken, and the Council shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Karnataka.
